Deadly Mentorz Cultural Programs is currently consulting to local government, catholic schools, early childhood centres, corporate clients and various Universities around Australia, developing and delivering mentoring/coaching programs for Deadly Mentorz Saltwater Leaders Program. We offer Deadly Mentorz Saltwater Leaders Level One Program for all stakeholders, community, and all diverse people across the world.
DM saltwater Leaders, Level 1 & Level 2 Program
This cutting edge cultural safety, and leadership program has been developed to provide people from all diverse backgrounds with the knowledge to deepen their understanding of culture, reflect, be respectful, kind, and present. Deadly Mentorz is dedicated to being an agent of social change. Aligning with our ethos we wanted to lead by example, and have on offer programs for our future leaders and change makers. Saltwater Leaders is taught by Naomi, it can be delivered online, or in person, and tailored for workplaces, community, students, anyone who wishes to develop their leadership and belief in themselves.
Participants of DM Saltwater Leaders will each receive a Deadly Mentorz pack with a diverse range of cultural activities to complete aligning with appropriate cultural guidance. Participants will complete a case study/reflective questions for each yarn up, along with a cultural activity to reinforce your personal learning, and understanding.
Participants who successfully complete DM Saltwater Leaders Level 1 program,
maybe invited to enrol into DM Saltwater Leaders Level 2 program. price, content for this program will be released in 2024.
DM Saltwater Leaders Program will give participants the historical knowledge, background, and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture. You will have the opportunity to learn by doing, by engaging in interactive honest, yarn ups within a safe cultural space. That will have you reflecting, asking questions, and being mentored by Naomi. You will begin your cultural safety journey, and have the opportunity to build upon you knowledge of Australia’s True shared history, and awaken your understanding to the richness of First Peoples Culture. These leadership programs will enhance, and hone personal morale, aspirations, develop leadership, innovation, creativity, and improve relationships with everyone. It will create opportunities for new partnerships within diverse communities that may not have been explored. It is a further way for participants to develop themselves as individuals to enrich their communication skills with diverse cultural groups and foster their pride for diversity. These workshops will also create an awareness, empathy, appreciation, and opportunity for participants in Australia to work and walk alongside in the First Peoples space by establishing relationships with local First Peoples in Australia.
The Yarn Ups are cutting edge, participants will be engaged, they will walk the walk, learn and appreciate cultural ways of knowing, being, and doing. You will hear, and see the history, you will reflect, share, engage in cultural activities. You will build upon your own self belief to be a leader within your team, community, and grow in confidence to build sustainable relationships. It is important to identify your goals for growth, this program will give you the opportunity to develop your aspirations.

These core capabilities will be coached by Naomi, with a fusion of First Peoples knowledge applied to the key capabilities. Participants will perform activities to highlight the importance of working amongst a diverse community.

Outcomes for DM Saltwater Leaders Level 1 & Level 2 Program
Enhanced awareness and guidance, knowledge and understanding, of the diversity and richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, learning about the True Shared History of this Nation.
Historical timeline will give an understanding of how government policy, and legislation has impacted and shaped modern-day Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture
Guidance and development understanding cultural safety within society, learning how you can embed it within your community
Dispelling myths and stereotypes
Developing participants understanding of First Peoples ways of knowing and being, through interactive cultural Yarn Ups that will develop participants appreciation for diversity, developing their leadership, to become agents of social change to stamp out racism, through engaging with key areas of communication, leadership, respect, appropriate language, cultural protocols
Confidence to become a leader, within your community to create culturally safe spaces/environments for all diverse backgrounds
Participants will learn to lead with change, and communicate with impact for all diverse backgrounds

SCHOOLS PROGRAMz - DEADLY MENTORZ
Deadly Mentorz Saltwater Young Leaders Program is a cultural mentoring program aimed for participants from across diverse backgrounds for primary and high school students. The program can be tailored and delivered digitally via video conference, in community, at schools, or at universities. Deadly Mentorz will provide all material, a staff member, and work in consultation with community to achieve the desired outcome.
The objectives of the Saltwater Young Leaders Program are to work with young leaders from diverse cultural backgrounds who maybe at risk of disengaging with school from all year levels. The aim is to foster and grow their confidence as young leaders through hands-on- cultural workshops, that align with traditional First Peoples cultural practices, and through participation in peer/peer mentoring. The aim is to then have our young leaders take the peer/peer mentoring back to their school or community to increase their aspirations, resilience and confidence to succeed.
DM Saltwater Young Leaders will learn about sustainability, through connection to the environment, caring for country, respect for others; and themselves as individuals. Through learning about the traditional practices in a contemporary setting participants will grow as young role models through positive cultural engagement; and role modelling from staff of Deadly Mentorz.
DM Saltwater Young Leaders program aims to empower our youth across the community who may be at risk of disengaging. The purpose is to build their belief in themselves to accomplish their dreams and work hard to achieve them. Participants who complete DM Saltwater Young Leaders Program will walk with pride in their own identity to pursue excellence and opportunities for a “Deadly = Awesome” future.
CORPORATE PROGRAMz - DEADLY ENTERPRIzE
In the corporate sector we consult, develop and deliver programs to develop Corporate Leaders and Staff in Cultural Safety relating to diversity, leadership, community engagement and building staff aspirations. This is aligned with Deadly Mentorz Saltwater Leaders Program which can be tailored to suit workplace needs. The aim is to foster and grow staff morale, aspirations, and build future leaders’ confidence to strive for excellence.
We accomplish our purpose through heightening corporate clients’ awareness to cultural diversity, and we build each individuals capability through interactive; cultural workshops, that align with traditional First Peoples cultural practices.
Participants of DM Saltwater Leaders Program learn via participating in cultural activities, case studies, and incursion experiences. The aim is to have leaders become more self-aware, and agents of social change to want to mentor within their workplace or community to increase their aspirations, resilience and confidence to succeed. Through learning about the traditional practices in a contemporary setting, participants will grow as leaders within their organisation through positive cultural engagement, and role modelling from staff of Deadly Mentorz.
